What is sustainable foreign trade?
Sustainable foreign trade is an approach in which the import and export of goods takes into account environmental impact, social responsibility and compliance with increasingly demanding climate regulations.
In the face of global challenges such as climate change, deforestation and industrial emissions, the European Union and other economies are introducing regulations that enforce transparency and accountability throughout the supply chain. Examples of such regulations include: CBAM, EUDR, Digital Product Passport (DPP) or planned PPWR file or espr.
For companies, this means new reporting obligations, the need to obtain data from non-EU suppliers and the risk of penalties for non-compliance.
At Green Reporting, we support companies in effectively implementing these changes. We help not only to meet legal requirements, but also to use them as an impulse to build a competitive advantage based on trust, transparency and responsibility.
